Putin puppet Lukashenko says there is a risk of ‘nuclear war’

Putin puppet Lukashenko says a third nuclear war is on the horizon and insists Russian nuclear weapons in his country are “a protection, not blackmail” because “the West is planning an invasion of Belarus.”

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko today warned of a nuclear World War III over NATO support for Ukraine, as he insisted Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus should “protect” the country from the West.
The dictator, a staunch ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, claimed – without providing any evidence – that the West planned to invade Belarus to “destroy” it.
Lukashenko said the West’s decision to send tanks, missiles and artillery to Ukraine means the world is closer than ever to a nuclear apocalypse.
“As a result of the efforts of the United States and its satellites, a full-scale war has been unleashed in Ukraine,” an enraged Lukashenko said in a televised address. “A third world war with nuclear fires is on the horizon.”
Lukashenko, who a year ago allowed Putin to use his country as a launch pad for his all-out invasion of Ukraine, insisted that Russia’s plans to use tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus were not blackmail but a chance to defend his nation from the West “protection”. threats.
In a planned address to the nation, Lukashenko said the West was building its forces in Poland on the borders of Belarus and planning to invade and destroy it.
The despot warned Kiev against a counter-offensive against the invading Russian troops, insisting that this would make negotiations between Moscow and Kiev impossible.

Lukashenko’s saber-rattling came just days after he warned Britain it would “see a terrible reaction” that would be a “lesson for the whole planet” if Britain sent depleted uranium tank ammunition to Ukraine.
The dictator said last week that Russia would retaliate against Britain’s decision to supply Ukrainian forces with ammunition containing depleted uranium by sending Belarusian guns carrying “real uranium” – used in nuclear weapons – in a sinister threat .
“We must retreat from this madness. As soon as these munitions explode on positions of Russian troops, you will see a fearful reaction, it will be a lesson for the whole planet,” Lukashenko said last week.
“Russia doesn’t just have depleted uranium,” Lukashenko said in a thinly veiled threat of impending nuclear war. “We must curb this trend of escalating the conflict and move towards a peaceful solution.”
Lukashenko has remained a key Putin ally throughout the war. Russian forces used Belarus as a launchpad for their February 2022 attack on the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, and there has been Russian and Belarusian military activity in the country ever since.
Lukashenko owes loyalty to Putin after the Russian despot backed the then-beleaguered Belarusian leader when protests under his repressive regime nearly ousted him from power without fair and free elections.
Lukashenko, who has been accused of human rights abuses for his crackdown on the press, continues to take part in joint military exercises with Russia.
Last October he announced Russian forces would join forces with his own and be stationed on the border with Ukraine, and accused Kiev of planning an attack with the help of allies Poland and Lithuania.
This is breaking news, more to come…
