Putin’s security chief vows to destroy West with hypersonic nuclear weapons if he tries to defeat Russia

Vladimir Putin is ready to destroy the West with hypersonic nuclear weapons if he tries to defeat and dismember Russia, his top national security adviser has warned.

Nikolai Patrushev demanded that Moscow should be allowed to dominate Europe after the supposedly imminent collapse of the EU.

The 71-year-old hard-line ideologue – believed by some to be the mastermind behind Putin’s ill-conceived war in Ukraine – revealed in an interview how conspiracy theories are rampant in the Kremlin as the seat of Russian power becomes increasingly isolated.

“Some people in the West are already talking about revenge that would lead to a military victory over Russia,” he said.

Ignoring the fact that Putin had ordered a brutal invasion of sovereign Ukraine for the past year while frequently threatening full-scale world war, Patrushev claimed: “Russia is patient and does not intimidate anyone with its military superiority.

“However, it has unique modern weapons that, in the event of a threat to its existence, can destroy any opponent, including the United States.”

Among his chilling threats was Putin’s demand to rule Europe.

The US is “currently doing what it wants in Europe, ignoring the fact that historically Russia has played the leading role on the continent,” he told Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper, the Kremlin’s mouthpiece.

“The Russian Empire is in the 19th century, the Soviet Union in the 20th.

“It will be the same in the 21st century.”

Patrushev, long-time secretary of Russia’s Security Council, appears to plan for his son Dmitry Patrushev, 45, now Putin’s agriculture minister, to take over as the dictator’s presidency if he fails in health or is overthrown due to wartime failures.

But the ex-FSB boss warned: “The NATO countries are a party of the [Ukraine] Conflict. They turned Ukraine into one big military camp…

“Trying to continue this military confrontation as long as possible, they do not hide their main goal – the defeat of Russia on the battlefield and its further dismemberment.

“The unrestrained quest of the US authorities to maintain world dominance has been the source of all instances of escalation of tensions on a global scale since at least 1945.

“American politicians, for some reason held hostage to their own propaganda, cling to the belief that in the event of a direct conflict with Russia, the US would be able to launch a pre-emptive missile attack, after which Russia would be unable to respond .

“This is short-sighted nonsense of a very dangerous kind.”

The Putin henchman claimed the US was using “military biology laboratories to create new viruses to destroy the peoples of undesirable countries while once-clean American cities are drowning in dirt and garbage.”

“False” accusations of war crimes are being leveled at Putin and his entourage, while the West “turns a blind eye to genuine acts of genocide and financial machinations being carried out with White House approval.”

In Patrushev’s analysis, “the collapse of the EU is not far off”.

He claimed: “The paradox is that Washington is directly interested in dissolving the EU in order to eliminate its economic rival, not to let Europe prosper by working with Russia.”

Meanwhile, according to the Kremlin, “there can be no doubt that sooner or later the US’s southern neighbors will recover the territories stolen from them.”

In his distorted analysis, sanctions against Putin, such as big pharmaceutical companies restricting Western medical supplies to Russia, are reminiscent of Hitler’s gas chambers.

“It is common knowledge that most of these companies once worked on the development of poison gases and soul-killing drugs for Nazi Germany,” he said.

“They fully supported the ideology of genocide against the so-called ‘superfluous’ peoples.”

His tirade continued: “Recall how these same Anglo-Saxons promoted the Nazis in the 1930s, hoping to turn them against the Soviet Union.

“Having earned financial and geopolitical dividends from World War II, Washington and London today are once again indulging in Nazism and fascism.

“With Ukraine, they don’t mind fomenting a pan-European or even global conflict because they think they can get away with it.”

His diatribe appeared to be an attempt to rally a Moscow elite that increasingly doubted the wisdom of Putin and Patrushev’s leadership.

The West “has opposed our country more than once.

“Sometimes under the flags of Poland and Sweden, sometimes with Napoleonic eagles, under the British flag or under the Hitler swastika.

“The result is the same – all attempts to crush Russia are in vain.”
