Rachel Stevens and Hannah Spearritt have a Mini S Club 7 reunion at the Cirque Du Soleil KURIOS premiere

They were both in one of the biggest pop phenomena of the ’90s – S Club 7.

And Hannah Spearritt and Rachel Stevens reunited on Wednesday night when they both attended the European premiere of Cirque Du Soleil’s CURIOUS.

The two band members both posed on the red carpet at London’s Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the new Cabinet of Curiosities show.

The production, titled Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities, follows the story of a 19th-century world inventor who invents a machine that defies the laws of time, space and dimension.

And both Rachel, 44, and Hannah, 40, made sure to look their best for the star-studded event.

Rachel cut a sophisticated figure in a long tailored beige coat over a black silk shirt and matching trousers.

She upped her height in a pair of black leather boots and carried a coordinating black quilted handbag.

Her glossy caramel tresses were styled in sleek waves and she wore a light makeup palette to emphasize her natural beauty.

Hannah dazzled in a gold mini dress embroidered with sequins that shimmered in the light.

She added a black leather jacket and added a few extra inches to her body with black heeled boots.

Her striking pink-dyed tresses were loosely curled, with several strands braided into tiny pigtails.

The reunion between the pair comes after The Mail on Sunday revealed the S Club 7 are reforming 25 years after they first rose to fame on a BBC TV show – with a combined age of 300.

They were best known for their hits “Bring It All Back”, “S Club Party”, “Reach” and “Never Had a Dream Come True”.

All seven members of the group have agreed to the comeback, which was spearheaded by music mogul Simon Fuller – the man who put them together in 1998 after the Spice Girls, his previous band, fired him as manager.

He personally called each of the seven stars — Rachel, Hannah, Tina Barrett, 46, Jon Lee, 40, Paul Cattermole, 45, Bradley McIntosh, 41, and Jo O’Meara, 43 — to propose the project and made it clear would only work if everyone agreed.

Their comeback is expected to be announced with great fanfare in the coming weeks, where they will reveal the details of the reunion.

They are planning a major tour for the summer, although they are debating whether it will have to be postponed until Christmas due to Jo’s back injury, which has required four surgeries to remove part of a herniated disc.

Friends say she is currently having difficulty walking but is hoping for a full recovery.

A source close to the project said: “Simon Fuller saw the value in it, S Club 7 had a huge following of all ages that he thinks will want to see for nostalgia reasons.

“Their songs were so upbeat and funny that it’s a huge commercial opportunity for all of them, especially Simon.”

Fuller is understood to have arrived on the scene after being unable to headline a 25th anniversary celebration with the Spice Girls.
