Ramona Singer “used the N-word on a black crew member” while filming RHONY and said that “most” black people don’t have current fathers

Ramona Singer has been accused of using the N-word toward a black Real Housewives Of New York crew member and saying that “most” black people don’t have fathers present in a bombshell new report.

The 66-year-old reality star has been the focus of racist complaints, according to Shed Media, Warner Bros. Discovery, Bravo and NBCUniversal Vanity Fair On Monday.

According to the report, Singer’s alleged “racial hostility” and use of the N-word stemmed from a conversation with a black crew member during production of season 13.

This season marked the first to feature a Black cast member on the Bravo show Eboni K. Williams, as it is claimed that the cast of the reality series took part in a “virtual educational session” focused on the topic of race and the kind of comments focused Okay, you can say that while the cameras were rolling.

According to the report, Singer and Williams, 40, were accompanied by RHONY castmates Leah McSweeney, Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps, as well as an NBCUniversal communications executive, a Bravo publicist and two representatives from a racial justice organization.

Williams – who reportedly interpreted the meeting as a “hide your ass” event – said the meeting discussed things that the cast should avoid, such as “the racist phrase that black fathers aren’t there for their children .”

“What if they don’t have a father? “Why can’t I say that?” Singer said during the meeting, according to Williams. “Most people don’t.”

It was alleged that the reality show’s publicist – who Vanity Fair said was black – told Singer that she had a father, but Singer countered that she had read a study that confirmed that most black children do not have a father would have.

The publication noted that McSweeney, 41, confirmed Williams’ account of the alleged events.

Singer responded to Vanity Fair: “The training involved “open dialogue.”

“With that in mind, I asked a question about a statistic I had read about single-parent households, in which children in single-parent households were statistically less successful than those in two-parent households.”

There was a memorable scene in the show’s 13th season that featured a blow-up between Williams and De Lesseps, with the latter calling the former an “angry woman.”

Williams took it as an “angry black woman,” to which de Lesseps responded, “I never referred to your skin color,” before Williams left while Singer stayed behind.

Vanity Fair reports that viewers thought the scene was over at that point, but it actually continued.

The release states that one of the people who stayed there claimed, “Ramona was slamming her hands on the table.” She says, “That’s why we didn’t need black people on the show… This will ruin our show.”

Singer responded to the allegations by posting that this “absolutely” did not happen, as she explained: “In fact, I supported the addition of diverse cast members long before Eboni.”

Williams left the show after just one season.
