Retired high-class escort Amanda Goff aka “Samantha X” reveals she only has ONE regret

Amanda Goff was once Australia’s most famous escort, known by the nickname Samantha X.

But the author and journalist has turned a page and exited the industry that made her a household name last year.

The 48-year-old had a candid conversation with her fans on Instagram this week, revealing she has only one regret about her time as a sex worker.

Amanda admits that her surgically enhanced bust is too big and she wishes she hadn’t had the surgery.

“Although I love my boobs, I also think that sometimes I’ve grown a little bit too big and I (maybe) aspire to get them smaller at some point,” she said.

“I feel insecure about them at times and feel like people only know me for that. So yes – if at all – the breasts.

“Even though I vacillate between love and hate in truly bipolar fashion.”

When asked by a curious fan if she had any regrets about having been an escort, Amanda replied, “In short, no.”

She continued, “Despite the controversy, the judgement, the stigma and the consequences, I don’t regret a single decision I’ve made, from coming out to my books to the media.

“Although I love my boobs, I also think that sometimes I’ve grown a little bit too big and I (maybe) aspire to get them smaller at some point,” she said

“The lessons I’ve learned, the compassion, empathy, resilience and authenticity I’m now armed with, I wouldn’t change for the world.

“I feel privileged to be a vehicle for men to open up to and honored to be in some way helping women explore their sexuality.

“It hasn’t been easy for many reasons and I struggle with guilt and shame a lot at times, but what I’ve learned about men, women and myself is a gift.

“I feel insecure about them at times and feel like people only know me for that. So yes – if anything – the boobs,” she added

“I also learned that most people are hypocrites and I can sniff out cops in nanoseconds.”

Last year, Amanda told Stellar Magazine she was ashamed of her earlier career and changed after being diagnosed with bipolar II disorder.

“Now the fog has lifted, I’m ashamed of some of my decisions, particularly going public,” she said.

When asked by a curious fan if she had any regrets about having been an escort, Amanda replied, “In short, no.”

“I don’t recognize the woman who did this and it’s embarrassing to me.”

She continued, “I’m not blaming my bipolarity or saying it was because of my bipolarity in the first place. But would I have made those decisions if I had been diagnosed and treated? Most likely I wouldn’t have been so public about it.

Amanda says that creating her alter ego, Samantha X, “was a way of dealing with certain traumas in my life,” and she felt she was “acting” by including that side of herself.

“I felt invincible as Samantha. At the time, despite the shock from friends and family, I had no problem going public,” she says.

“It was like I couldn’t understand their concerns. I was closed to it. I was on a kind of high, which I now understand is mania.

Amanda has now reclaimed the “very traditional and conservative” person she has at heart.

She ended her successful career as a journalist to embark on a controversial path that quickly garnered her a whole new following.

Amanda established herself as Australia’s best-known escort, writing two memoirs, launching her own lingerie label, adult toys and agency.

She also ran an escort agency with her business partner.

In addition to mentoring behind the scenes at her agency, Amanda has been busy completing a master’s degree in counseling and psychology.

She explained, “I’m not blaming my bipolarity or saying it was all because of my bipolarity. But would I have made those decisions if I had been diagnosed and treated? Most likely I wouldn’t have been so public about it.
