Details on the city’s hottest ticket to the AFL Grand Final have been revealed, and players will have to fork out nearly $6,000 to snag one, though only 30 are available.

Widely regarded as one of the milestones in the Australian sporting calendar, the AFL Grand Final will be played to a packed capacity at the MCG on Saturday 30 September.

Two from Collingwood, Brisbane, Port Adelaide, Melbourne, Carlton, St Kilda, GWS Giants and Sydney will be battling it out for the 2023 Premier League.

And the AFL appears able and willing to cater to those in need of VIP treatment on the big day, with details of hospitality at the “Inner Sanctum” emerging.

Dubbed “The Ultimate” and priced at a staggering $5,810 per person, the package combines premium dining with so-called “exclusive game day experiences.”

Prior to the game, ticket holders will receive VIP hospitality featuring the game’s legends, past and present.

Despite paying nearly $6,000 for the package, guests at the MCG are treated to an experience money can’t buy before watching the grand finale in an exclusive private suite.

Guests then enjoy the post-grand finale celebrations at the AFL’s exclusive venue, the September Club, which opened in 2005 to provide VIP hospitality services.

Other packages offered range from $325 per person to $3,310 per person.
