Risk of Rain 2 Obelisk: How to Unlock Mercenaries
Risk of Rain 2 Obelisk is used to unlock Mercenary, one of the many new characters. It’s not as difficult as it sounds, but people have to have a bit of luck. It is not known how to summon the Heavenly Portal, but you need the portal to unlock the Mercenary. So far, people have only stumbled upon the Heavenly Portal on their adventures, so I advise doing the same.
Once inside, you need to find the obelisk.

The process once you reach the Obelisk is fairly simple, but it’s not an easy journey to get there. You have to jump and climb dangerously to reach the obelisk. Once you’ve done that, interact with the obelisk and watch your character die. But hey, you at least unlock Mercenary.
Risk of Rain 2 became available for early access on Thursday, March 28th with new partner Gearbox Software, the developers of the Borderlands series and the recently announced Borderlands 3, featuring procedural generation, character development, item restoration and monster defeating . An important innovation was the switch from 2D to 3D.
