Ross Barkley has signed for French club Nice.
The 28-year-old former England international was a free agent after Chelsea paid off his contract last week, with Barkley reportedly being paid around £7million.
Barkley, who had also held talks with Southampton, was introduced to Nice fans ahead of their game against Monaco on Sunday night.

Nice signed Aaron Ramsey this summer, as well as Kasper Schmeichel and Fulham full-back Joe Bryan. Nicolas Pepe also arrived on loan from Arsenal.
Barkley received the number 11 shirt in Nice, who started the match against Monaco in Ligue 1 in 14th place.
Barkley had held talks with Southampton but a move to St Mary’s never materialized

A product of Everton academy, Barkley was rated extremely highly as a youngster and made 179 appearances for the Toffees, scoring 27 goals.
A move to Chelsea followed in 2018 but Barkley has struggled to maintain a regular starting spot for the Blues.
Overall, he scored 12 times in 100 games for Chelsea.
Barkley hopes the move to Nice will give him regular playing time and consistent performances.
