Royal expert claims there’s a major problem with Prince Harry’s latest book: ‘Something doesn’t add up’

  • The Duke claims William grabbed him by the collar and threw him on the ground
  • Leaked excerpts of the bombastic memoir have sparked a wave of controversy
  • Sunrise Royal editor Robert Jobson said something in his memoir “doesn’t add up”.
  • He questioned one of the details shared by Prince Harry about the altercation

A royal expert claims there is “something wrong” in Prince Harry’s latest book and says he finds it odd that the Duke called his therapist after the fight but not when his wife was having suicidal thoughts.

In his upcoming memoir Spare, Prince Harry, 38, sensationally claims his brother William, 40, threw him to the ground after a heated argument in which he branded his wife Meghan Markle “rude,” “difficult” and “abrasive.” .

The Duke of Sussex says the Prince of Wales grabbed him by the collar and threw him to the ground, where he smashed a dog bowl with his back.

Harry claims the couple got into a screaming match over their failed relationship and his troubles with the press before his brother left him with visible injuries in the alleged scrap including “scuffs and bruises”.

The heated argument reportedly broke out in the kitchen of his London home, Nottingham Cottage, in the grounds of Kensington Palace in 2019.

Sunrise Royal editor Robert Jobson said he was “surprised” that Harry had published claims about the alleged attack in his memoir, but that the idea of the brothers getting physical beatings didn’t shock him.

‘William’s a bit quick-tempered. Brothers fight, it happens every now and then,” he said.

But he said that in Harry’s retelling of the alleged altercation with his brother “there was one point that didn’t add up” – the phone call he made to his therapist soon after.

Mr Jobson questioned why the Duke didn’t make a similar call to his therapist when his wife Meghan revealed she was having suicidal thoughts.

Sunrise Royal editor Robert Jobson (pictured) says there is “one spot that doesn’t add up” in Prince Harry’s description of the alleged altercation with his brother.

“The first person he spoke to on the phone when he had this argument with his brother was his therapist,” he told Sunrise on Friday morning.

‘Remember, a few weeks ago he said he didn’t know what to do when his wife was having suicidal thoughts.

“They were handcuffed in the kitchen fisting over an argument about Meghan and he’s on the phone with his therapist but he didn’t know what to do when his wife started having suicidal thoughts.

“It doesn’t really add up. I think there are so many conflicts of interest. If you have your own therapist, I’m sure you can sort out your wife’s suicidal thoughts.”

Mr Jobson said he doubted the royal family would seek the help of mediators or family psychologists at potential talks in 2023.

“Is he real? Does he really think there will be dialogue afterwards? I certainly wouldn’t sit down and try to negotiate with him,” he said.

“I don’t think they will go that deep. I think that is a clear breach of trust.”

The Duke sparked controversy after excerpts from his memoir were leaked and circulated around the world, despite efforts by his publisher, Penguin Random House, to keep the book under wraps.

Another leak revealed that Harry blamed part of the blame on William and Kate Middleton for his infamous appearance in a Nazi uniform at a 2005 costume party.

In an excerpt published by Page Six, Harry claims he considered wearing either the Nazi uniform or an aviator outfit to the Native and Colonial-themed event – with the Duke writing that he called his brother and sister-in-law for their opinion .

The couple “cried” over the costume, Harry wrote, according to the publication.

Back then, the story made global headlines after a picture of Harry in uniform made the front page of The Sun newspaper.

The “Bombshell” memoir is slated for an official release on January 10, but is currently available on Amazon for $35 for a hardcover.
