Royal Never Give Up’s Uzi featured in new Nike campaign

Nike unveiled its new campaign featuring League of Legends star AD Carry Jian “Uzi” Zihao on Thursday.

​​The Royal Never Give Up player posed with Chinese actor Bai Jingting and American basketball star LeBron James for the brand’s new “Dribble &” campaign on Twitter. Each celebrity wears a black t-shirt with the text “Dribble &” followed by a blank box filled in with “Carry” for Uzi.

The campaign supports James’ upcoming multi-part documentary series, Shut Up and Dribble, which is named after a political row between the basketball star and Fox News host Laura Ingraham. As a result, the series will cover the lives and roles of NBA players in the country’s current political climate.

Uzi’s inclusion in the campaign marks the first time a professional League of Legends player has partnered with the popular sportswear company.

The RNG AD carry is considered by many fans to be one of the best in his role given his aggressive lane dominance and the team’s year-round success. The team won both the LPL Spring and Summer splits, Rift Rivals LCK/LMS/LPL and this year’s Mid-Season Invitational.

RNG meets G2 Esports in the League of Legends World Championship Quarterfinals Sunday at 12:00 p.m. ET.
