Rudolph Isley dies at the age of 84: The founding member of the Isley Brothers dies “after a suspected heart attack” in Illinois

Rudolph Isley, founding member of hit band The Isley Brothers, has died at the age of 84, according to a report.

TMZ has reported that Isley died Wednesday in Illinois. The cause of death remains uncertain, but an insider told the outlet that Isley likely suffered a heart attack.

Isley was a member of the family music group The Isley Brothers, whose hits included “For the Love of You,” “Parts 1 & 2” and “Shout.”

Rudolph founded the group along with his siblings Ronald, O’Kelly and his late brother Vernon, who died at the age of 13.
