Sarah Harris makes her The Project debut following the mass exodus of the show’s biggest stars – and fans are loving it: ‘You were born to perform’
Sarah Harris has made her The Project debut and appeared on the Sunday edition of the current show this weekend.
The former Studio 10 star was met with approval from viewers, who posted their thoughts on Instagram and Twitter.
“Great show Sarah! You go well with @theprojecttv,” one person said of the 41-year-old TV star.

“@SarahHarris loves you on @theprojecttv,” said another person, while another chimed in, “How good it is to see @SarahHarris on @theprojecttv.”
“Project better now, cleverer and fun,” said another, while another wrote, “Great start at The Project Sarah. You look really comfy on the desk.”
“You were born to perform @theprojecttv @SarahHarris. you smash it I love you girl,” said another.

Not everyone agreed, however, with one tweeting: “I’m sure Sarah Harris is a lovely person, but I’m not sure this show needed another slight relief, let alone substance character, in the wake of Lisa Wilkinson’s departure.”
New stars Sam Taunton and Michael Hing have joined the show for 2023 alongside Sarah and existing panelists Waleed Aly and Hamish Macdonald.
Georgie Tunny, who was already a fixture on the current show, will also appear in the new season.

It follows the mass exit of stars Carrie Bickmore, Lisa Wilkinson and Peter Helliar from the troubled series.
Tommy Little was also quietly removed as a regular panelist last month.
The stand-up comic is no longer an “official” cast member, but will make sporadic appearances on the show, according to TV Blackbox.
