Belgian champions Club Brugge officially unveiled Scott Parker as their new coach on Monday.
Parker, who was sacked by Bournemouth in August after the Cherries’ miserable and record-breaking 9-0 defeat by Liverpool, agreed to a deal with the club on New Year’s Eve after four months as a free agent.
The 42-year-old was first appointed manager in 2019, remaining in charge until 2021 before arriving at Vitality Stadium on the same day his departure from the Cottagers was completed.

The Belgians have slipped to fourth place in the table but remain in the Champions League
Club Brugge, undeterred by the prospect of Bournemouth firing Parker for just four Premier League games this season, dropped former manager Carl Hoefkens on Thursday.
The reigning champions are 12 points behind leaders Genk in Belgium’s top division and lie fourth with 34 points after 18 games.
Parker’s new club has a long history of success, winning the Belgian Premier League 18 times.
Club Brugge have dominated the division in recent seasons, winning five league titles in the last seven seasons.

The Englishman faces a tough test in his first game as coach of the club as his new side meet Genk on Sunday.
Although winning their fourth straight Belgian championship this season might prove too difficult a task for Club Brugge given their points deficit, Parker could impress the board with a successful run in the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
The Belgian side meet Benfica in the Champions League round of 16 after an impressive performance in the group stage ahead of the World Cup break.
