Sekiro PC Controller not working: How to fix it

Sekiro’s PC controllers have stopped working since the game launched on Friday.
There are a few simple troubleshooting methods that players can try before furiously storming the forums.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. Sekiro is the latest game from FromSoftware, developers of the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne, and is directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director of the same. Players take on the role of the protagonist of the same name. Sekiro, a shinobi during the Sengoku period of Japanese history, seeks revenge against a samurai who mutilated him and kidnapped his master.
With a prosthetic arm to replace his lost limb and a sword, Sekiro must travel the wide world and defeat many enemies in this critically acclaimed adventure.
All of this is impossible if players are not even able to move from the starting position or operate the main menu.
Take revenge by any means necessary. Become a “one-armed wolf” and rise from every fall. Now available pic.twitter.com/gF79HuxP3j
