Shooting in Kirribilli: One person is injured just streets away from the Prime Minister’s official residence

A major manhunt is underway after a person was shot dead in Sydney’s Kirribilli district, just a few streets from the Prime Minister’s official residence.

The shooting happened on Upper Pitt St, Kirribilli, just meters from Anthony Albanese’s official Sydney residence, Kirribilli House.

According to 10News, the victim’s gunshot wounds are not considered life-threatening, while the suspect is currently on the run.

A building has been cordoned off with police tape and emergency services, including a New South Wales ambulance, are responding.
