Shoppers are in shock after a person fell several floors at the Myer Center in Rundle Mall

Emergency services have rushed to a busy mall in the city after a shopper fell several floors.

South Australian Police and Paramedics closed the Myer Center on Rundle Mall in central Adelaide after the incident.

All staff and customers were evacuated from the center and a cherry picker crane was brought in to retrieve the person, reports the Adelaide Advertiser.

The circumstances of the client’s fall are still unknown but are not being treated as suspicious as an SA police spokesman described it as a “mental incident”.

There’s more to come.
