Sinistea Evolution, Stats, Location: Pokemon Scarlet and Purple

Sinistea is a Ghost-type Pokémon introduced in Gen 8. Here’s what you need to know about this little teacup Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Sinistea is an interesting Pokemon to encounter. It has two forms that players can find, each determining the item needed to evolve it into Polteagegeist. If you want to complete the Pokédex, only one form of Sinistea needs to be caught. But if you’re a true completer, you should get your hands on both the fake and ancient forms of Sinistea.

In order for Sinistea to evolve into Polteageist, you must first verify which form you have captured. Depending on the shape, you will need either the Cracked Pot or Chipped Pot evolution item.

Sinistea’s highest base stat is his Special Attack, which is 74. Its lowest is its health at 40, which means Sinistea probably won’t be your party’s Tank Pokémon. Here are the full base stats:

There are no statistical differences between the forms of Sinistea.

Sinistea is mainly found around Zapapico in the Eastern Province (Area Three) and around Anornada in the Southern Province (Area Six). You will most likely find one near ruins. For the best chance of catching one, players should check these areas at night. Sinistea Evolution, Stats, Location: Pokemon Scarlet and Purple
