But on Tuesday, Skye Wheatley made fans do a double take when she showed off her dramatic new hairdo on Instagram.

The 29-year-old looked unrecognizable as she swapped her signature blonde hair for a black wig.

The Gold Coast influencer shocked her fans when she showed off the hair color while posing for a selfie.

“I prefer that to the blonde. The blonde is pretty but it really brings out your features,” one person commented.

The post comes after Skye recently revealed to her TikTok followers that she and partner Lachlan Waugh are taking a “break” and have agreed to co-parent their children on alternate days.

But the arrangement didn’t last long and Lachlan asked Skye to “come home” so they could raise their boys together.

“There’s a bit of confusion around a couple of my recent posts when I’m talking about co-parenting with Lachy,” she began.

“Basically, we tested co-parenting. So I would have the kids two nights, then he would have the kids two nights. Yes, two nights on, two nights off.’

Skye said Lachy was begging her to come home soon and get into her co-parenting experiment.

“After doing that for a bit, I was like, ‘Okay, you can come home now,'” she said.
