Strictly speaking, Helen Skelton and Hamza Yassin need to sign six-figure presenting deals to keep them with the BBC.

Strict finalists Helen Skelton and Hamza Yassin “are in line to bag six-figure presenting deals to keep them with the BBC”.
Strictly Come Dancing stars Helen Skelton and Hamza Yassin are reportedly set to land six-figure presenting deals to keep them with the BBC.
The broadcaster is said to be ready to “inject the cash” to stop competing channels from snapping up the couple, who have been “nurtured” by the BBC.
It comes as Helen and Hamza – who are both favorites to lift the Glitterball trophy – will face off in Saturday’s grand final alongside fellow rivals Molly Rainford and Fleur East.

Former Blue Peter star Helen, 39, and CBeebies presenter Hamza, 32, have sailed through the show so far and, unlike the other finalists, avoided the dreaded dance-off.
A source told The Sun: “Helen are Hamza are hugely popular with the BBC and executives are delighted with how the show has raised their profile.
“They wanted some sensational stars to appear on Strictly this year, which is a ‘full’ show for the first time since Covid cut it two years ago.

“Viewers seem to have thrown their support behind Helen and Hamza in a way few other finalists have enjoyed. The Beeb want to build on that and make sure they stay with the BBC, where they’ve both developed their careers to date.”
The source added that the duo are both “highly valued” although their careers are at “different stages” with Helen being a well-established presenter while Hamza is relatively unknown “at this stage”.
MailOnline has reached out to representatives from Hamza, Helen and the BBC for comment.
Hamza is reported to be set to become the BBC’s next David Attenborough after the organization landed him a spot on the dance show in a bid to make him a household name.

Making waves: “They wanted some sensational stars to appear in Strictly this year, which is the first time a ‘full’ show has happened since Covid scaled it back two years ago.”
The Daily Mail revealed the Beeb’s executives arranged it after learning how popular he was with children on his CBeebies walking show Let’s Go For A Walk.
And they’re delighted now that Yassin has become so popular with Strictly fans that he’s going into the Strictly finals as a favorite to lift the glitter ball – and they’ve already started planning a wildlife docu-series that he can present.
A source close to the star said: “Some of the BBC’s bosses knew that few of the show’s loyal viewers would know who he was when Hamza was revealed in the Strictly series, but they just knew he was the Series would end most loved by all participants.

“And they are absolutely thrilled that it has paid off. Work is already in progress for various programmes.’
Yassin also revealed his dream of being like legendary wildlife broadcaster Attenborough, 96, after his dyslexia prevented him from pursuing the medical profession.
