Stunning photos show a boat with 8 people on board crashes into a Missouri home

Eight people were injured and required hospital treatment in a speedboat accident in Missouri when a ship they were on ran aground and crashed directly into the side of a house.

The crash happened late Saturday night on the Lake of the Ozarks, southwest of St. Louis.

The impact after the boat ran aground ejected all passengers from the vessel as it capsized near the Osage Arm’s 1.3 mile mark.

The boat was a 2014 Nortech boat with powerful engines and a top speed of almost 70 knots.

The passengers, consisting of four women and four men between the ages of 21 and 51, were seriously injured. The group was taken to Lake Regional Hospital.

Two of the victims were from Louisville, Mississippi; two were from Huntington Beach, California; one from Oak Hills, California; one from Glen Ellyn, Illinois; one from Phelan, California and one from Niles, Michigan arrest report.

It’s not clear if anyone inside the home sustained injuries as a result of the collision.

The driver of the boat, identified as 47-year-old Adam Ramirez of Huntington Beach, California, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated with serious injuries.

Ramirez is known as a motorboat enthusiast.

Apparently, the roof tiles had also been loosened along with the gutter.

The investigation into the accident continued on Sunday.

Police officers spent time reconstructing the scene of the accident using a drone. A crane was called in later on Sunday to haul the boat away.
