Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes’ handshake has inspired their NFL friends to get their own, as Patrick Mahomes says he and Travis Kelce want to make the couple “one.”

The Chiefs’ “WAGs” celebrated Mahomes’ touchdown pass to Marquez Valdes-Scantling last Sunday with a series of moves, including a spin and a chest bump, in a moment that has since gone viral.

And the All-Pro quarterback apparently wants to bring the pair together with his favorite target.

“I need to talk to Travis because me and Travis don’t even have a handshake,” Mahomes said during a radio interview with Kansas City’s KCSP (610 AM) on Thursday.

“So I mean, they’re ahead of us. So we have to sit at the board and come up with a handshake so we can try to improve their handshake.

And now Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce could be working on a handshake of their own

“Yes, we’ll work on it,” Patrick promised. “We’ll prepare it for you.”

Swift was spotted in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium with Brittany Mahomes as they cheered on their NFL stars.

And Kelce and Mahomes put on a show: The tight end scored a touchdown just before halftime and racked up 143 receiving yards in the first half alone — his career-high for the first time — which gave Swift and her new girlfriend, Brittany, Reason to celebrate.

The two “WAGs” clearly developed a bond during their time together in the stands, as evidenced by their handshake.

Swift, with a drink in hand, and Brittany, who was holding her 11-month-old boy Bronze in her arms, swayed back and forth as they moved their heads in time with each other.

Swift was seen gazing admiringly at Kelce as he ran onto the field at Arrowhead while wearing a friendship bracelet that read “87” – his jersey number for the Chiefs.

The 12-time Grammy winner was seen enthusiastically cheering on her NFL beau. So much so that the singer will definitely have to rest her voice before the resumption of her Eras tour on November 9th in Argentina.

In one exciting moment in the first half, she even became so animated that she hung out of the suite window.

The Love Story singer waved to fans who flocked to Arrowhead to see her as well as the Chiefs, some carrying signs that read, “Go see Taylor’s boyfriend.”

There was speculation as to whether Swift would return to Kansas City for last Sunday’s game, as she is currently enjoying some free time before the South American leg of her global Eras tour.

She’ll next take the stage in Buenos Aires on November 9th, which coincides with Kelce’s farewell week in the NFL, meaning he could soon return the favor and travel to see her in action.

However, Swift won’t be in Denver this weekend to watch her boyfriend and the Chiefs play the Broncos.
