The Bachelors’ Felix Von Hofe has revealed he only went on three dates in his life before starring in the reality TV series.

During an episode of Benjamin Norris’ TV Reload Podcast last week, the 27-year-old basketball player sat down for a rare interview with fellow contestants Jed McIntosh and Thomas Malucelli.

Felix said he always enjoyed the company of friends rather than chasing women.

He said he didn’t feel any emptiness in his personal life and didn’t think much about his limited experience on the dating scene.

Felix went about his life normally and continued to do the things he enjoyed most before starring in the dating series.

He said it would be natural for him to join some of his buddies near a DJ booth on a dance floor where he would stay all night.

“I’ve been on three dates in my life before,” he said during the podcast.

“I never go out to pick up girls, you go out (to dance) and people think you’re single — that’s the biggest misconception.”

As of this week, The Bachelors has continued to grab the TV ratings as it barely tops the ABC rerun of British comedy quiz show QI.

With just 281,000 subway viewers on Wednesday night, the matchmaking show only moved ahead by 37,000.

The season has proved popular with the 16-39 age group.

Channel 10 presented the show to an audience of 309,000 viewers in five major cities and 405,000 nationwide.
