The Block’s Josh Packham basks in the sun after the ‘worst gastro ever’ at Beyond the Valley

Josh Packham’s debilitating case of diarrhea was cleared up in time for him to attend the Beyond The Valley festival in Victoria on New Year’s Day.

The 28-year-old Block star shared a gallery of snaps and videos on Instagram on Sunday, capturing how he was having the time of his life at the annual music festival.

One follower cheekily asked, “Did you wear a diaper just in case?” while another joked he looked “sick (in this case, the good sick)”.

It comes after the reality star took to Instagram on Thursday and revealed he had “the worst gastro” he’s ever experienced.

Packham said it was worse than the “Bali belly” and revealed he had rescheduled his flights to Beyond The Valley for Friday but doubted he would recover in time.

‘[I’ve got] terrible temperatures, stomach ache like you wouldn’t believe. I vomit all the time. Diarrhea,” he told his followers as he reclined in his bed.

Packham, who finished second in the 2021 season of The Block with his twin brother Luke, went on to say he probably won’t be leaving the house anytime soon.

“I could celebrate New Year’s Eve on the couch or in bed because those are the only two places I can be right now. Oh, and the toilet of course,’ he said.
