Eamonn Holmes has slammed ITV for covering up the affair with Phillip Schofield.
The 63-year-old broadcaster, who previously co-hosted This Morning with Schofield, made a sensational claim that bosses knew “what kind of man” the star was and had done nothing.
Holmes – who co-hosted the show with his wife Ruth Langsford – went on to make a series of allegations, suggesting that network executives were aware of the allegations against Schofield and “never once took any action.”
He said, “Schofield was finally caught, but he’s not the only culprit.”
This was confirmed by GB News presenter Dan Wooton, who said the channel now faces “huge questions”.
