The mystery of the woman in the field is deepened when Prince Harry’s old flames deny they took his virginity

A number of women have rushed forward to deny taking Prince Harry’s virginity after he shook tongues in his bombshell memoir with a garish account of a rendezvous in a field.
Former model Suzannah Harvey, 44, and interior designer Catherine Ommanney, 51, have joined Liz Hurley in their exit as the Duke of Sussex’s first mistress.
In his book Spare, Harry revealed that in 2001, aged 17, he lost his virginity to an elderly horse-loving woman behind a busy pub – believed to be the Rattlebone Inn in Wiltshire.
He felt like a “young stud,” he described the moment in the English edition, adding, “Quick ride, then she slapped my butt and sent me to graze.”

Miss Harvey has tried to distance herself from the brief encounter after previously admitting she “passionately kissed” the prince in a muddy field when she was 23 after a Yule Ball that same year.
Miss Harvey, who is six years his senior, posted a picture of herself with a packet of ginger nuts to Instagram and wrote, “The only ones I’ve ever touched…believe zero of what you read.”
Miss Ommanney, who dated Harry when she was 34 and he was 21, also denied being the woman in question, adding that he was “clearly” an experienced lover when they got together in 2006.
His former lover said she hated horses and was “definitely not the girl in the field”.
As the search for the mystery woman continues, rumors are now swirling about Emma Wood née Tomlinson – an equine vet and polo coach who is ten years his senior.
The now married 48-year-old has known Harry for decades as her family were neighbors and good friends of his father Charles at his Highgrove estate.
The Tomlinsons ran the nearby Beaufort Polo Club where their late mother Claire, one of the world’s top players, trained Harry and his brother William.

Harry, who spent part of his gap year at the family ranch in Argentina, was also close to her brothers Luke and Mark Tomlinson, who were invited to his wedding.
Mrs. Wood and her brothers belonged to the close-knit circle of friends of the princes, known as Club H – not H after Harry, but because of their gatherings at Highgrove House.
A Beaufort Polo Club scene source who knew Ms Wood well said: “She was very close with the royals and the princes in particular. They always went out as part of a social group and were having serious fun the whole time.
The source added: “She has an attractive personality – flirtatious, feisty. She’s a country girl and doesn’t get too into those things.”
Referring to Prince Harry’s detailed account of his first time in his book, the insider added: “It was a pretty mild escapade by the standards of some of the affairs that have taken place in the Beaufort over the years. I don’t know why everyone is so surprised and obsessed with this.”
Both William and Harry were regulars in the vibrant scene at the polo club, known to locals as the “upper-class meat market.”
The wild parties saw youngsters flock to local pubs, including the Rattlebone, in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Mrs Wood, then in her late 20s, and teenager Harry are said to have been seen frequently drinking together in the 17th-century pub at the time.
A source familiar with the group said: “Emma spent every summer with Harry and William. The parties at the Beaufort Polo Club were crazy.
“I saw with my own eyes the relationship that she and Harry had and it was really very friendly and close. She is a pretty girl, very funny. She was definitely the more dominant of the two.”
When contacted by the Mail last night for comment, Ms Wood refused to be pulled. Franck Ortet, a former Rattlebone manager, said he believed the mystery woman was a popular member of the polo set.
He declined to give names, saying the woman had spent wild nights at the pub with Harry and William when she was in her mid-20s.
Mr. Ortet added that he believed a field behind the Rattlebone, surrounded by a stone wall, would have been the “perfect spot” for Harry’s brief liaison.
Leaked copies of Spare in Spain caused a stir last week when Harry described encountering seemingly obnoxious language.
In the Spanish edition, he revealed he lost his virginity while discussing how a royal aide visited him to discuss a possible scandal.
The translated version read: “I suspected he was referring to my recent loss of virginity, a humiliating episode involving an older woman who liked macho horses and treated me like a young stud.
“I quickly mounted her, after which she spanked me and sent me away.” In fact, the aide had been sent over a drug use allegation that was dismissed as “lies”. But an English version of the book makes it clear that Harry used a light-hearted horse metaphor, referring to a “fast ride” and his “rump.”
