The original WoW Creator returns to Warcraft

Chris Metzen, one of the original creators of World of Warcraft, has rejoined the Warcraft leadership team.

According to Blizzard, Metzen will join as a creative advisor, with his initial focus on World of Warcraft. His team will then “expand to other projects in this growing franchise.”

Warcraft General Manager John Hight said, “Chris was one of the original team members working on the inception of the Warcraft universe in 1994, and we’re thrilled to reunite him with the world he helped create. “

Little information has been revealed about Metzen’s or Blizzard’s plans for the franchise’s World of Warcraft going forward.
