The out-of-control XL bully named “Zeus” attacked three small children in multiple attacks over several weeks – before being quietly sold by his owners

An out-of-control XL bully named “Zeus” attacked three young children in multiple attacks this summer – before being quietly sold by his owners.
David McColl, 37, and Andrea McColl, 35, appeared at Forfar Sheriff Court, Angus, Scotland, where they each admitted a separate charge of being responsible for Zeus when he spiraled dangerously out of control.
On June 22, Zeus attacked and injured two boys, ages 9 and 10, near Andrea McColl’s home while driving off on their street, Leine courier Reports.
Just a month later, on July 23, the dog bit and scratched an eight-year-old boy after jumping on him and knocking him to the ground while David McColl was in command.
Since the attacks, the XL Bully has been sold on to a new owner, the court heard.

The XL Bully was sold to a man called David Nixon after the attacks but has since been confiscated, Forfar Sheriff Court heard.
Lawyer Nick Markowski said: “It was his (David McColl’s) dog.” Before it was seized by police it was sold to another person [David Nixon] – he is in court.’
Sheriff Derek Reekie postponed sentencing until December 7 to allow for welfare reports to be prepared.
It will also be decided whether Zeus will be destroyed at the next court hearing.
This comes after Rishi Sunak announced a ban on XL Bullies. However, it is currently unclear whether the ban would also apply to Scotland.
