The Queen of the Netherlands beams as she meets school children in Brasília

The Queen of the Netherlands received a warm welcome this morning as she visited a local school in Brasília.
Máxima, 52, is currently completing a three-day visit to Brazil as part of her role as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Financial Inclusion and Development.
On her last day, she traveled to a public school in the Brazilian capital, where the schoolchildren greeted her with lots of cheers and a special bouquet of flowers, accompanied by her own baby doll.
The Queen, who is a mother of three, seemed delighted with the enthusiasm of the young students, who gravitated towards her for a group hug.
For today’s happy occasion, the stylish Máxima opted for a plaid pleated skirt and blouse.

The Queen smiled as she wore the elegant ensemble on her last day in Brazil.
The midi skirt’s fabric consisted of small cream and black chevrons with a small slit for ease of movement.
The dress was fastened at the waist with a large round belt.
Her loose cream blouse was tucked into the skirt to accentuate her taut waist, and Máxima carried it with a matching leather handbag and cream loafers, which she also owns in pink for the occasion.
Her blonde locks were styled straight, one side tucked behind her ear, and the mother-of-three wore her signature glamorous daytime makeup.
For her school trip, she applied some bronzer and eyeliner with mascara and kept the makeup soft with a pink lipstick.
All the children gathered around the Queen when she arrived at her school.
Máxima didn’t mind the students’ ebullient reaction, but instead welcomed them with open arms and beamed as more and more children came to greet them.
