‘The Traitors’ is renewed for a THIRD season before the second season even airs: Here’s how to apply

“The Traitors” is expected to return for a third season.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, The Traitors is a thrilling psychological reality competition in which 22 strangers play the ultimate game of discovery, deceit and trust in the hope of winning up to £120,000.
The majority of participants are “believers” and must find out who among them is “traitors” – who have the opportunity to “murder” a fellow participant every night.
The group conducts daily “banishments” where they must vote to kick out whoever they believe is a traitor, while also working on challenges to raise money for the prize fund.
The BBC series proved to be a huge hit when it launched last year and fans were thrilled when a teaser trailer for the second season was released last week.

The show bosses are convinced that the next episode this year will be another success and have already opened casting applications for the third season.
Kalpna Patel-Knight, BBC’s head of entertainment, said: “Huge unscripted hit The Traitors will be back for a third series.”
“Expect more psychological gameplay, exciting challenges and of course Claudia at the helm.”
“It’s sure to be a thrilling ride for both avid fans and newcomers to the series.” The BBC will always remain loyal to the Traitors.
Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert, added: “We are delighted that a third series of The Traitors has been confirmed today, ahead of the second series arriving on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.”

Exciting! Traitors fans were abuzz with excitement on Saturday evening after the BBC released a teaser trailer for the hit show’s second season

It comes after the first teaser trailer for season two was seen on Saturday evening, showing Claudia wearing the traitor’s cloak along with two other hooded characters.
She looked into the camera and held a finger to her lips as she said, “The traitors.” “Coming Soon” flashed on the screen.
Viewers were thrilled by the news and took to social media to express their excitement about the return of the popular series.
They wrote: “IT’S HAPPENING, EVERYONE STAY CALM,” while another added: “Get it in my eyes @BBCOne!”; “My whole year has been building up to this,” while a fourth person tweeted: “SERIES 2 COMING SOON!!! ‘YES!!!’
Alongside the teaser trailer, several fans noticed another hint that The Traitors would soon be returning on Claudia’s other show, Strictly Come Dancing.
During Saturday night’s show, a figure in a traitor’s cloak could be seen behind the presenter talking to the couples as they received their scores from the judges.
Neither Claudia nor any of the participants mentioned the cloaked figure, but the mysterious person could be spied in the background.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted the cameo and took to Twitter to point it out and praise the subtle marketing tactic.

The first season of “The Traitors,” set in a Scottish castle, aired in November 2022.
The first series attracted an average of 5.4 million viewers and was so popular that a second series was commissioned in February.
