“The Traitors” is expected to return for a third season.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, The Traitors is a thrilling psychological reality competition in which 22 strangers play the ultimate game of discovery, deceit and trust in the hope of winning up to £120,000.
The majority of participants are “believers” and must find out who among them is “traitors” – who have the opportunity to “murder” a fellow participant every night.
The group conducts daily “banishments” where they must vote to kick out whoever they believe is a traitor, while also working on challenges to raise money for the prize fund.
The BBC series proved to be a huge hit when it launched last year and fans were thrilled when a teaser trailer for the second season was released last week.
