There is chaos at Euston station in London as hundreds of passengers are stranded after a bus rammed a railway bridge in Harrow.

Travelers are facing significant delays as trains between Euston and Watford Junction are halted for up to 15 minutes following the incident, which is likely to cause a backlog of departures.

The route is currently blocked while it is checked for damage. According to train operator Avanti West Coast, services are expected to resume “shortly”.

Passengers entering and leaving the station faced delays of up to an hour, with one describing the scenes while waiting for his train as “manic”.

Avanti added: A bus has collided with a bridge between Watford Junction and London Euston. There is currently a blockage on the line while the line is checked for damage. “Hopefully the services will be up and running again soon.”
