Thomas Tuchel wants to “reunite with Chelsea star Mason Mount at FC Bayern Munich this summer”
BREAKING NEWS: Thomas Tuchel wants to “reunite with Chelsea star Mason Mount at Bayern Munich this summer” as the German giants hope to poach the England star on a cheap deal ahead of Liverpool with his contract expiring next summer
Bayern Munich are reportedly considering a move for Mason Mount, with new boss Thomas Tuchel reportedly keen to get back together with the Chelsea midfielder.
The German giants, who sensationally replaced sacked boss Julian Nagelsmann with former Blues head coach Tuchel last week, are already plotting their summer window moves and are reportedly keen on the England international.
Mount was a key player for Tuchel during his time at Stamford Bridge and won the Champions League with the German boss in 2021.
The 24-year-old’s long-term future in west London has been in doubt this year after lengthy contract negotiations between the club and the player. Both parties have yet to agree on a deal, with Mount’s current contract expiring next summer.
According to The Times, Bayern are hoping to exploit the contract loophole and lure Mount into a cheap deal, despite Chelsea planning to pounce at least £50m from the Englishman.
