A woman who sent sick messages to what she believed to be an underage girl who was in fact an undercover cop was jailed for more than five years.
Tiane Miller, 49, of Greystanes in western Sydney, was arrested after she sent a series of explicit messages to Child Exploitation Unit detectives in 2020 and 2021, posing as the girl and using an online identity police internally identified as ’41 ‘ was known.
Her home was searched and digital equipment confiscated on August 14, 2021, but she was released on bail.
The following month, Miller texted a 39-year-old woman — who was in turn an undercover cop — to arrange sex with her nine-year-old daughter.
Downing Center District Court in Sydney heard on Thursday that Miller told the first underage girl she had “boobs and ass” and sent a picture of her breast and penis.

She offered to text the girl to pick him up from the train station, telling her: “We could do a lot of fun things naked and you could still be a virgin… you could try sucking it,” reported The Daily Telegraph.
When ’41’ asked what they could do, Miller texted ‘Kiss and touch you down there, get horny and wet and touch your nipples’ and told her she had to keep it a secret.
The messages lasted 20 days, and Miller asked the underage girl to skip school so they could meet.
After her initial arrest and release on bail, she wrote to the 39-year-old woman via the Chatiw app that she was “bored and horny” and invited her to her home.
Aware that the covert identity used by police had a daughter, she suggested the three could have sex.
“Maybe you and I get naughty in front of her (the kid) and then go to the bedroom… Tell her if she wants to be in the room to undress too,” the court heard.
Police arrested her when she went to meet the woman at Liverpool train station and found she was wearing lingerie that would fit the child.
The court heard she had written to another identity of an underage girl used by police, asking if she could visit her home while her mother was at work.
Miller has been in custody at Liverpool train station since her arrest in October 2021.

Downing Center Circuit Court heard Thursday that Miller was using methamphetamine when the offense occurred
She pleaded guilty to using a car service to procure a person under 16 for sexual activity, using a car service to send indecent material to a person under 16, using a car service to groom a person under 16 .
The court heard she was using methamphetamine when the offense occurred and had been receiving a mental illness pension since 2001.
She told the court she had remorse, wanted to be a productive member of society, and had been overly exposed to taboo subjects online.
Judge Mark Marian said the offense had a “depraved” intent and cast doubt on her remorse considering she continued on bail.
Miller was sentenced to five years and six months and is eligible for parole on July 16, 2024.
