Tina Fey stars in a plaid coat as she films A Haunting in Venice with Kenneth Branagh

Actress Tina Fey was spotted on the set of A Haunting in Venice, Italy this week while filming scenes for the upcoming movie alongside co-star Kenneth Branagh, 62.

The Mean Girls star, 52, took to the Venetian channels wearing a vintage checked coat and matching green hat for the historical piece.

The film is based on acclaimed author Agatha Christie’s ‘Halloween Party’ and co-stars Jamie Dornan and Michelle Yeoh.

Tina looked incredible in her vintage-inspired suit, pairing the coat with leather gloves, a brown handbag, sheer stockings and simple heels.

Between takes, she would hold a hot water bottle to keep warm on set.

Her hair was styled in a vintage curl look and she wore makeup including a dewy foundation, a pale pink lip and a rimmed eye.

Tina seemed thrilled to be on set, smiling and chatting with the cast and crew between takes.

Her character in the film has not yet been announced, although Agatha was known for creating fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.

Earlier this week, Tina and Kenneth were spotted filming a boat scene on the channels for the film.

The 62-year-old actor rode to the City of Water in a police waterboat while reprising the role of detective Hercule Poirot, which he had previously played in 2017’s ‘Murder On the Orient Express’ and 2022’s ‘Death on the Nile.’ .

Crowds of extras also filled the city streets, all dressed in period costumes, as the film traveled back in time.

It is Kenneth’s third Hecule Poirot film and an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s 1969 novel Halloween Party, set in post-war Venice on All Saints’ Day.

Filming began in November at London’s Pinewood Studios before moving to Venice, Italy, for the last few weeks.

While the 20th Century Studios project has a September 2023 release date.

Kenneth will star in the film alongside Tina, as will Jamie Dornan, Michelle Yeoh, Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly and Riccardo Scamarcio.

It comes after Kenneth’s co-star Jamie admitted he found his signature mustache “intimidating”.

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, he said: “I felt very insecure and inferior the whole time because his mustache was amazing.”

‘[His facial hair is] the best in film history as Poirot, while mine was just a small attempt.’

Jamie also said it was “very different” to act alongside the Oscar winner, having previously only directed.
