Toddlers & Tiaras star Eden Wood looks unrecognizable as she rarely appears on TV to discuss her next steps after graduating high school

She burst into the limelight at just six months old before becoming one of the main faces of “Toddlers & Tiaras”.

And Eden Wood looked unrecognizable as she made a rare appearance on Channel Seven’s Morning Show on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old was all grown up when she revealed she had recently graduated from high school and is planning to study broadcast journalism.

“I’ve waited four years, I’ve worked so hard.” I actually graduated first in my class, which was a huge achievement for all the work and all the years that paid off,” she said.

Eden, who has won more than 300 titles during her time as a child beauty queen, said she wants to study something she loves.

She continued: “I am determined [studying] broadcast journalism. I’ve always been in front of the camera. I’ve always been the one being interviewed, so I think it would be cool to switch positions and be on the other side.”

Eden was one of the main actors in the series “Toddlers & Tiaras”, in which girls participated in children’s beauty pageants.

Her mum Mickie previously spoke about the efforts she went to to prepare her daughter for the stage – which included spray tans, outfits and makeup.

Speaking on an episode of the show shared by TLC on YouTube, she estimated her expenses: “Probably around $65,000 or $70,000.”

Likewise, Heather Ryan, who served as the mother-daughter duo’s manager, added, “Mickie doesn’t skimp when it comes to beauty pageants.”

“Now she’s spent enough on wardrobe and pictures to feed virtually every child in Botswana.”

Mickie announced in 2011 that Eden would no longer compete in beauty pageants, allowing her to focus on a career in Hollywood instead.
