Tom Brady jokes he still wants to play in the NFL to face his unborn grandkids…then pokes fun at himself by saying his New Year’s resolution is to smash fewer tablets!
Tom Brady was in a happy mood after he and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammates clinched the NFC South and a playoff berth.
The star quarterback won the 19th division title of his career after being instrumental in the Bucs’ 30-24 comeback win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
The win was the perfect start to 2023 after Brady endured a difficult year both on and off the field.

Brady joined Jim Gray on his weekly Monday Podcast, joking that he could still play in the NFL when his future grandkids take the field.
“Maybe one day you can sit back and tell your grandkids about the epic career you’ve had,” Gray said SiriusXM Podcast Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray.
Brady replied, laughing, “One day. One day when I have grandchildren. Hopefully that’s a long way away, but yeah, maybe I’ll just score, maybe I’ll meet one of them sometime in the playoffs. That is also possible.”

Brady posted a series of photos from the workout to his Instagram story back in November
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has expressed his desire to play in the NBA with his 18-year-old son Bronny.
Gray continued, “You’re gonna put it out there a little bit, huh?”
Brady replied: “We’ll see. As my friend says, the future happens every day. So there I am right now. I’m locked up It’s playoff time. Let’s go.’
Brady shares Jack, 15, who has joined the Bucs to practice, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. He also has a daughter, Vivian Lake, nine, and son Benjamin Rein, 12, with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, who he divorced in October after 13 years of marriage.
The 45-year-old also poked fun at his tablet-throwing antics – he threw a tablet on the floor in September – and said he will smash less this year when asked about his New Year’s resolutions.
“Of course there are many very personal ones. I gave up layoffs this year so I’m tired of being laid off. Like I said, I’m tired of throwing interceptions. I will give up these for at least January and hopefully February,” he said.
“I’ll stretch a little less. Up to this point I’ve been pretty flexible, save a few minutes a day. I won’t break so many pills. That’s pretty obvious. And then I just stay physically fit and mentally sharp.’
