Tom Hanks’ son Chet Hanks was spotted on a short trip to Beverly Hills on Friday for the first time since he claimed his parents sent him to a “wilderness camp” as a teenager to help fight addiction.
The Shameless actor, 32, kept his look simple and casual by wearing a short-sleeved shirt and jeans, while he was later joined by a couple of friends.
The musician recently explained on the Ivan Paychecks podcast late last month in November that his father and mother, Rita Wilson, sent him to a camp in Utah and “was there longer than anyone else.”

Last month in November, Chet had opened up the Ivan Paychecks podcast and explained that his father, Tom, and mother, Rita, had sent him to a “wilderness camp” in 2008 to help him cope with his addiction problems when he was still in the high school
He had recounted the morning he woke up to find men around his bed ready to escort him to camp in Utah.
“Bald, like military men who look like bouncers, you know? And I was like, ‘What the hell? What the hell is going on?’ They say, “You come with us, we can do this the easy way or the hard way,” Chet had expressed.
The actor also revealed that he lived “without a roof over his head” and also had to do “manual labor” during his stay in the “troubled teenagers” camp.
