Too tired for walks! Japanese man, wearing a £12,000 dog costume, poses for selfies with fans while being taken on a trolleybus for a ‘walk’ around Tokyo

A dog lover who rose to viral fame for his desire to “become an animal” has once again ventured to Tokyo in his £12,000 custom made collie costume – this time to pose for selfies with newfound fans.
The animal lover, known only as “Toco,” spent around 2 million yen on the lifelike costume last year to fulfill his lifelong dream “become an animal”.
Now, over a year later, he has been pictured “walking” the streets of the Japanese capital with the help of a friend, who took him in a trolley.
Other surreal images saw him being rubbed on his stomach as he was wheeled around on the trolley to meet locals in love.
It comes after Toco got on all fours to meet up with his more realistic canine companions last month and was filmed performing dog tricks for his 54,000 YouTube subscribers on his I Want to Be an Animal channel.

Tokyo residents were delighted to see Toco leaning down beside the car to snap a photo with the now-viral internet sensation.
But despite his rising fame, Toco isn’t ready to shed his mask just yet.
Toco told MailOnline last May, “Ever since I was a little kid I’ve wanted to be an animal.” I think it’s a desire for transformation.
“For as long as I can remember, I’ve thought about it.”
The dog lover said he hid his identity and human face from the world because he doesn’t want to be judged by people he knows.
“I don’t want my hobbies to be known,” he said, “especially by the people I work with.”
‘They think it’s strange that I want to be a dog.’ For the same reason I can’t show my true colors.’
Then, late last year, Toco told that Mirror He still hasn’t built up enough confidence to tell some of his closest friends about his hobby.
“I rarely tell my friends because I’m afraid they’ll think I’m weird,” he said. “My friends and family seemed very surprised when they found out I was becoming an animal.”
Toco said he enjoys “doing things that only dogs do.”
In September, Toco went for a walk outside for the first time. He said in a YouTube video documenting the experience that he felt “nervous and a little scared.”
“I wear a leash because people are surprised when they see me.” “I’m very nervous,” he said in the video.
“Do you remember your dreams when you were little? You want to be a hero or a wizard.

“I remember writing in my elementary school graduation book that I wanted to be a dog and go for a walk outside.”
Noticing how nice the wind felt in his fur, he rolled in the grass in his backyard.
Toco said he wears sandals to protect his feet and the lower part of the costume from dirt after spending nearly £13,000 to have them made to measure.
His now-viral videos have attracted like-minded fans, one of whom said: “You inspire us to achieve our dreams too.”
Another wrote: “I hope to become the animal I want to be too.” “You are an inspiration to us.”
Japanese company Zeppetwho creates costumes for TV commercials and films, spent 40 days making the outfit.
A spokesman said: “It is modeled after a collie, reproducing the look of a real dog walking on four legs.”
