- They believe the man’s body was in the tent for five days before it was discovered
A man has been found dead in a tent on a popular Sunshine Coast beach.
Police were called to Mooloolaba Beach near Parkyn Parade just after 6am when the body was found in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police believe the man’s body was in the tent on the sand dunes for five days before being discovered by a lifeguard.
The man is said to be in his 60s.
