Nicky Whelan has revealed her tragic loss to fans.

The 42-year-old “Neighbors” star took to Instagram on Sunday to share the heartbreaking loss of the “love of my life,” her French bulldog Yoda.

“Friday morning I unexpectedly lost the love of my life, Yoda,” the star’s heartbreaking post began.

“Luckily he was in my arms looking me in the eyes as he got his angel wings and walked over,” Nicky wrote.

“We have spent ten years of love and joy together.” “Yoda has been on more planes, more movie sets, more red carpets, more parties, more dinners and more adventures than most people I know.”

Whelan continued: “He genuinely touched the lives of every person and animal he met. “He was so happy and I’m so grateful and happy that we had the time together that we did.”

She concluded: “I am so heartbroken. I will love you forever, Yoda.’

Yoda was by Nicky’s side as she attended the Last Chance for Animals gala at the Beverly Hilton earlier this month.

Nicky, who starred as Pepper Steiger in the series Neighbors from 2006 to 2007, looked incredible in a long dress with a plunging neckline.

The slinky, form-fitting dress had short sleeves and allowed a glimpse of her pins while posing on the red carpet.

Nicky wore her platinum blonde locks up and opted for glossy makeup, topped off with bold red lipstick.

She completed her look with nude pumps and a necklace featuring the triquetra symbol made famous by the TV series “Charmed.”

“My diet consisted of vodka, ramen, coffee and cigarettes. My training consisted of going to parties drunk in 5 inch heels. “You don’t impress me,” it continued.

It comes after Nicky revealed why she was always so skinny on the Cancel Me, Baby! podcast.

“My body often looks best when I’m incredibly stressed,” she admitted.

Although she admitted that she exercises and maintains a healthy lifestyle, her weight loss is often due to stress alone.

“I work out, but there are also times when I’m so stressed and I lose so much weight, and no matter what I eat, my body loses weight,” she said.

She continued, “And when I’m at my worst inside, people come up to me and say, ‘God, you look amazing.’ I say, “You have no idea what’s going on inside you.”

Nicky then revealed that she received fewer compliments when she was happier and “curvier”.

“Other times in my life when I’m really happy and joyful and have gained weight and am a little curvier, I don’t get as much attention or people say different things,” she said.
