TV tycoon and rich lister Charles Curran is offering a beautiful six-bedroom mansion in Sydney for $29 million

A stunning mansion in Sydney’s eastern suburbs owned by prominent businessman Charles Curran has hit the market with an eye-watering asking price of $29 million.

Located in Woolahra, one of the city’s most exclusive postcodes, the classic two-storey home has six bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Curran, 85, who founded Screentime, producers of the Underbelly TV franchise, bought the sprawling property in 1981 for $750,000.

The media mogul, who sold his TV channels to Network Ten and Southern Cross in 1996, is downsizing, according to reports, in March following the death of his wife Eva The Wentworth Courier.

Located on a quiet street in the heart of a district home to international diplomats known as the “Consular Belt,” Curran’s palatial compound is a model of Old World luxury.
