TWICE in 2022, cops were called to Ruby Franke’s “abusive” home after reports the Mormon mom blogger left children home alone for days and let them run into the streets

The Mormon mom blogger accused of abusing her children had police call her home twice from concerned relatives and neighbors, according to explosive police reports.

Ruby Franke, 41, made a living giving lectures about strict parenting while allegedly abusing her children. She was arrested last week after one of her sons was discovered with open wounds and tape on his wrists and ankles.

Long before the heinous charges were brought against Franke and her podcast partner Jodi Hildebrandt, her family first landed on police radar after their children were caught running into the street in April 2022, according to police records obtained were first published by People.

That was followed by another visit in August, during which Franke’s eldest daughter, Shari, asked police to conduct a welfare check at the family’s home in Springville, Utah, because she feared her siblings had been left in the home for nearly a week.

After being charged with six counts of child molestation, the YouTube blogger made wild and shocking claims that one of her underage children had sexually abused a sibling and other children in the neighborhood.

According to police reports, Shari called Utah police after being informed by a neighbor that her younger siblings had been left alone in her home for approximately five days.

Her mother was reportedly with Hildebrandt, from whose home in Irvins, Utah, Franke’s 12-year-old son, Russell, allegedly escaped last month after escaping out a window and running to a neighbor’s house, asking for food and water.

After Shari called Springville police to check on her mother’s home, the reporting officer said, “(She) asked that we check on the children and make sure they were safe and secure for the extended period of time.” have food.”

The police report said the officer received no response when he knocked on the door and “the children were seen through the windows but did not want to open the door.”

After her mother’s arrest, Shari celebrated the moment, saying she had been “trying to tell the police and CPS about this for years.” She also shared a picture of her home on Instagram with the caption: “Finally.”

It remains unclear why more decisive action was not taken, as in their previous attempt to call police to the home, the officer on scene had also spoken to concerned neighbors when the children would not open the door.

Springville police have been contacted for comment.

The reporting party said neighbors claimed “the mother of the house, Ruby Franke, is going to leave her children at home for an extended period of time and go to St. George and spend time with her friend Jodi Hildebrandt.”

“Everyone who came to the scene was very concerned that the children were left home alone,” the report said.

“They expressed great concern that the two youngest children are being homeschooled while the older two are attending public school.”

“Especially because it shows that they are home alone during the day and there is no way for them to contact emergency services if necessary as they do not have a telephone and there is no landline available at home.”

According to KSL, police assisted the Utah Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) on three additional occasions. Springville police did not immediately respond to a request from DailyMail.com for further details.

The other time police were called to the home occurred months earlier in April 2022, when a DCFS caseworker contacted police after “she was made aware that two children were running unattended on the street,” it said in the police report.

When officers arrived, they did not report seeing any children on the street.

In a surprising twist after her arrest, Franke claimed via video from a Utah jail on Friday that one of her minor children had sexually abused her siblings and abused several other family members and children in the neighborhood over the years.

But according to police reports, Franke herself called the police twice in 2020 after she claimed to have received threatening messages about the exposure of her twisted family life.

In an incident on April 27, 2020, she told police that she “was sent a text message from someone saying they were taking her family and there would be riots at their door if the world found out the truth.” “.

The Mormon blogger broke down in tears as she made wild claims about her own children without providing any evidence following her arrest on child molestation charges.

Apparently blaming her behavior on her children, Franke went into shocking detail about how one of her six children abused other children.

She claimed that one of the Franke children began engaging in pornography when she was just three years old.

In one of the most shocking claims, Franke said her child sexually abused a younger sibling for years, adding that the two eventually began abusing other children.

She also claimed that her two children played a prank game on each other, but did not elaborate.

Franke said her child confessed in May to sexually abusing 20 people, including cousins and neighbors.

One of Franke’s relatives also spoke out after the YouTuber’s arrest, claiming the “disgusting” child abuse case was “bigger than people know.”

An unnamed cousin claimed in an undercover interview with that child abuse, assault and withholding food was a “generational” problem in the Franke family Law and crime.

“I’m not shocked. It’s not a shock at all. “The direction it went was not what I thought, but the direction it came from was expected,” they said.

“I did not expect that some of the details in this story would match details in my own family history.

“My mother handcuffed my sisters when they were little and a lack of food was not uncommon, but it was not for lack of money, and there was a time when it could have been prevented, but that was not the case .”

“All I can say is that my mother duct-taped my siblings. ‘I’m not shocked.’

When asked when they last saw Ruby, they replied: “When I was very young, it was a long time ago. Over 15 years ago.”
