Twitter praises Roy Keane’s ‘flamboyant’ new MUSTACHE ahead of Argentina’s showdown with France

Roy Keane debuted a new mustache on ITV as part of the channel’s coverage of the World Cup final on Sunday and fans were quick to praise the outspoken Irish expert.

Fans had the opportunity to watch the BBC or ITV broadcast of the showpiece final for the first time throughout the tournament, although ITV had already grabbed the headlines after Clive Tyldesly announced his early retirement from the World Cup.

And viewers wasted no time in taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the pundit’s new look, with one even poking fun at his on-air arguments with colleague Graeme Souness.

Keane had previously sported a very full beard throughout the tournament but has evidently opted for a change of mood for the showpiece spectacle.

As has often been the case at this World Cup, he has garnered attention for his views, notoriously criticizing Brazil’s dancing celebrations against South Korea and claiming that England need to find some ruthlessness after being knocked out in the quarter-finals.
