Tyson Fury has claimed that Francis Ngannou’s punch “has no power” and called the MMA champion a “fat sausage” in the final press conference ahead of their clash in the Battle of the Baddest on Saturday.
The Gypsy King cut a reserved figure in front of the Riyadh crowd before rising to the occasion as the two faced off for the final time.
Ngannou shrugged off the claim, instead eliciting laughter when he pointed out that Fury “knocked people out when he was fat!”
But the show was stolen by Fury’s father John, who was an explosive presence at son Tommy’s fight against KSI earlier this month as he challenged Mike Tyson to fight himself.
Fury Snr explained that he “feared no man”, only “God”.
