UFC star Kelvin Gastelum shared a gruesome video online showing the fighter stitching his teeth back into his gums.

Gastelum was due to lead the upcoming UFC card in a fight against Nassourdine Imavov on Saturday night before being ruled out with a horrific injury.

Following news that Sean Strickland would step up in place of the American, Gastelum released a clip of the proceedings that thwarted events this weekend.

In a post on social media, Gastellum showed off a brutal procedure, bluntly captioned: “Graphic Imaging”.

The video was posted three hours after the middleweight contender confirmed his withdrawal from the upcoming main event against Imavov.

In that tweet, he wrote: “I am extremely disappointed to say the least. That’s not how I wanted to start 2023. I busted my ass and fought my way through a lot of opponents and was ready to put on a hell of a show this weekend. My apologies to Imavov, his camp, as well as @ufc and all the fans.’

It would have been Gastelum’s first time back in the octagon since his unanimous decision loss to Jarod Cannonier in August 2021.

Gastelum’s fight with Imavov was scheduled to be a middleweight bout, but after Strickland came to the fight it has since been moved to light heavyweight.

Strickland will lead two consecutive UFC cards after his split decision loss to the aforementioned Cannonier last month – a rare occurrence.

Imavov is the UFC’s 12th middleweight division and is seeking his fourth straight UFC win after his unanimous decision win over Joaquin Buckley in September.

In other news, UFC boss Dana White was mocked by fans on social media for promoting his power slap league just a week after a physical altercation with his wife.
