Valorant patch 6.0 release date: when is it?

The Valorant patch 6.0 release date is in sight as fans prepare for new content.

The last patch for Valorant was 5.12, which affected numerous agents for an extended period of time. The agent with the biggest changes was Chamber, who received a handful of nerfs. All of Chamber’s abilities have been tweaked, but his Headhunter (Q) and Tour de Force (X) have been changed to discourage people from spamming shots. The newest agent, Harbor, has also had a slight polish.

There are some important changes to the competitive and unranked map pool for Valorant as Breeze and Bind are being removed from both queues. To replace these two maps, the new patch plans to release a new map called Lotus, and Split will return.

With all these changes announced, when will the new patch be available for players to try out?

The last update was released a month ago on December 6th, which is a long time as updates are usually released every two weeks. The long gap between patch updates is due to the holiday season, but Patch 6.0 is expected to release next week on January 10th.

This date coincides with the new season in League of Legends and the new episode in Valorant that will bring a lot of traction to both games next Tuesday.
