Vogue Williams has revealed she was “in a hurry” to have children with husband Spencer Matthews.

The model, 37, who shares Theodore, four, Gigi, two, and baby Otto, 11 months, with the former MIC star, 34, said her “baby boom” is a way to avoid pregnancy at 40.

She told The Mirror: “I think I felt rushed [to have children so close in age] because I thought, “If I want four kids, I don’t want to be pregnant after 40.”

“So I thought, ‘I’d rather get everything ready.’ Now I think I shouldn’t have been in such a hurry.’

Discussing having three kids under the age of five, she said, “Some people come up and say, ‘That’s hideous! But we love madness. It suits us.

The revelation comes after Spencer opened up about fighting with his wife while they tease each other when collaborating on their podcast.

The duo are famous for engaging in lighthearted banter throughout their talkative series.

But Spencer revealed there is some argument behind the scenes due to their strong opinions, and joked that he doesn’t always find Vogue’s subjects “particularly interesting”.

Speaking to Roman Kemp at Capital Breakfast on Wednesday, he explained: “We do fight from time to time and the podcast makes it worse because it’s a heightened version of a normal conversation.

“If you have an opinion, you can make it stronger than usual.”

He added: “Some of the things she wants to talk about I don’t find particularly interesting and vice versa, on the podcast I meant! The format is designed to rev up each other!

“We’re not in the perfect relationship by any means, but we’re best friends and we spend a lot of time together, but of course we fight sometimes.

“The podcast can often be that moment when we need to get back together, so it’s like, ‘We know we’re recording at two, so should we just park the argument?’ otherwise there will be a pretty bad episode.’

It comes after Spencer shared an emotional photo of a memorial to his late brother Michael on Mount Everest, which was covered in prayer shawls by strangers.

Michael Matthews died in 1999 at the age of 22 while climbing the highest mountain on earth, having become the youngest Brit to ever climb the summit.

Spencer has traced his older brother’s exact steps on a mission to find his body for his Disney+ movie Finding Michael.

The former Made In Chelsea star has now revealed the family have built a cairn. [a man-made pile (or stack) of stones raised for a purpose]Dedicated to Michael when his body could not be found on the Thukla Pass in Chukla Lare.

The pass houses over 100 memorials to those who lost their lives in the mountains.

Spencer shared a remarkable photo on Instagram showing the memorial when it was first erected in 1999 – and as it looks today, with dozens of prayer shawls left there by strangers.

Wearing a baby blue fleece, hat and gloves to protect himself from the elements, the reality star stood beside the memorial in awe of the many who had so kindly left a tribute to his brother.

Alongside the post, he wrote: “On the way to Everest, one arrives at the Thukla Pass in Chukla Lare, where there is a collection of stupas (piles of stones) commemorating some of those who were looted from the mountain.

“Shortly after Michael died and in the absence of a body, we had one built for him to be remembered in this beautiful way.

“Last year I visited Mike’s and found it completely covered in prayer towels. Wipe what it looked like in 1999.”

Michael’s body was never recovered and his family was never able to fully understand what happened to him.

Finding Michael, streaming now on Disney+, follows Spencer’s emotional search for his late brother’s body with adventurer Bear Grylls and record-breaking mountaineer Nirmal ‘Nims’ Purja.

During the film, Spencer, who was just 10 when his brother died, undertook a “heartbreaking” mission to climb Everest to find his brother’s body and replicate the “exact steps” his sibling took , when he died.
