Warzone 2 Mini Royale explained

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 features a Mini Royale mode for players looking for a faster, more action-packed battle royale.
The release of Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded brought players a condensed BR experience with the Mini Royale mode. For those players who don’t like the size of Al Mazrah and want to spend less time in a single game, Mini Royale is the perfect mode to explore.

Unlike the 150 players that fall into a normal game at Al Mazrah, in Mini Royale trios are loaded into a lobby of only 54 players. The map stays the same size, but this time half is already covered in gas when players pass by. With less room to navigate, players must dive straight into conflicts.
Players must now loot in much closer environments and be ready to fight as soon as the game begins. They may not have much more ground to cover before they find an enemy team. The fast pace of the mode appeals to gamers who don’t have time to engage in a regular game, or who simply want a faster, more intense experience.
Mini Royale features a new grind mode for fans of Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep. While there’s no resurrection dynamic here, players are still thrown into the action without worrying about in-game pauses or long rotations.
