Our September 2022 Warzone Pistol Ranking is here to check out which of the sidearms are the best to use now that the new meta has settled down a bit following the launch of Raven Software’s latest major balancing update.
Since the first patch of Season 5, almost surprisingly, Warzone players have yet to see any weapon nerfs and buffs. That’s not to say the meta isn’t still evolving though. This is how the pistols stack up in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 in September 2022.
The S Tier make up the two pistols, which surprisingly have decent utility for those who want to carry them in Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Fortune’s Keep. Both the AMP63 and the Vanguard 1911 are phenomenal values thanks to their fully automatic capabilities.
Diamatti and Renetti, the beloved pair of Verdansk-era akimbo burst-fire handguns that clutch in close-range combat, still remain solid options in the A Tier. Additionally, Sykov and Top Break rank here thanks to their competition stats.
There are four pistols in the B tier, which are further down the list because they’re just lackluster. It’s best to use all of these Akimbo styles, but they won’t pack the broken punch that would make them more popular.
Finally, there are a handful of pistols in the C Tier that are unlikely to be anything special throughout the Warzone Pacific era. Unfortunately, this also includes the new Valois revolver, which has proven to be less than optimal in terms of performance.
