Fans are furious as Warzone Caldera’s latest (and final) update has brought back sun glare. Redditor Rocket posted a photo showing intense glare looking up at the caldera sky. The Redditor in question titled his post “Horrible lighting is back again” and made it clear that lighting is a significant issue. Ever since Caldera replaced fan-favorite and iconic map Verdansk, Caldera has been divided among fans, to say the least, but Warzone players agree that both maps have had their fair share of lighting issues.
The Reddit post currently has over 100 upvotes and lots of comments, but not all fans agree if the lighting is actually that bad.
One Redditor comments “but the horrible whining never stopped,” as many other fans agreed that the lighting was a legitimate issue, with one comment going as far as saying “it’s literally blinding to see pretty much everything uphill.” “
Despite fan backlash and dissent, there was no comment from RavenSoftware on the matter. Luckily, multiple patches are released during a Warzone season, so hopefully the issue will be fixed.
If not, players have just a few months left before Warzone 2 arrives, with a new map that’s sure to come along with a ton of quality of life improvements.
