10 MINUTE TRAINING

Set a timer for 10 minutes and repeat the following three-step sequence as many times as possible:

  1. 10 squats
  2. 10 push-ups
  3. 20 second plank

Holmes noted, “You can do this anywhere, anytime, and without any equipment.”

The trainer explained that all you need to do is set a timer for 10 minutes and repeat the following three-move sequence as many times as possible: 10 squats, 10 push-ups, and a 20-second plank.

The footage shows him doing squats in the bathtub and on his living room table, doing planks on his kitchen island and chairs, and doing push-ups on his bed and outside, proving that the three exercises can be done almost anywhere.

“If you’re trying to lose weight, you need to practice moving more in every way possible,” he explained in the caption.

“Modify these moves as needed to suit your skill level and get it done!”

Holmes’ video has been viewed more than 19,000 times and received over two dozen comments since it was posted last week.

“Don’t sit in the shower,” one person replied.

‘You [are] I’m not kidding about “you can do it anywhere” if you [are] keep planking [your] Kitchen [island]someone else joked.

“I have the time but I lack the motivation and I don’t know how to get motivated,” admitted another.

Holmes recently opened up about his own weight loss journey Instagram while sharing before and after photos of himself.

He explained that one of the “biggest mistakes” he made was believing he could lose weight on his own and didn’t need to “hire a trainer.”

“Over a decade of my life, I increased my weight from 175 pounds to 237 pounds,” he wrote. “I can’t remember or count the number of times I’ve lost a lot of weight only to gain it back.”

“I don’t know how many stupid diets I’ve tried.” Or stupid exercise programs. Or thousands of dollars wasted on useless supplements and fat loss pills. All because my ego and pride wouldn’t admit that I couldn’t figure it out on my own.’

Holmes admitted that he spent over a decade of his life “dissatisfied and frustrated” with his body because he “didn’t see the value in getting help.”

“It wasn’t until I hit a real low point, when everything in my life seemed to be collapsing at once, that I realized how much I was getting in my own way,” he said.

“About seven years ago I finally got my head out of my ass and joined a coaching program run by a local trainer. There was nothing special about the plan he gave me. To be honest, they were all things I had tried on my own before.

“But the responsibility, combined with the fact that I invested in my health and fitness, made me truly prioritize my goals for the first time.”

Holmes said he stuck with the program for six months and lost a total of 45 pounds, which he has maintained over the past seven years.

“My attitude towards investing in myself has changed forever as it has literally changed my life for the better,” he added. ‘Health is really all we have…

“Without our health, everything else in life will be more difficult and less enjoyable.” Without good health, the short time we have in this life will become even shorter.

“I will never stop investing in my health.”
